Create a custom rule goal

Prerequisites​

  • Advanced comfort with goal templates or JavaScript rules
  • Linked accounts selected

Steps​

  1. Goals → + New goal → Custom rule (advanced).
  2. Enter a Name and paste or edit a Rule script, or start from a bundled template.
  3. Link accounts, click Test evaluation, then Create goal.

Paycheck cushion example​

Pick a pay-period cushion template, link checking, and adjust the target buffer. Use Test now on the goal detail Rule tab after saving.

Expected result​

  • Evaluation headline reflects your rule logic.
  • Custom rules re-evaluate when you open the goal or click Refresh.
