View the activity log

Review recent imports, syncs, exports, and security actions in one chronological list.

Prerequisites​

  • Your data file is unlocked

Steps​

  1. Open Settings from the left navigation or the title bar Account menu.
  2. In the settings sidebar, click Activity.
  3. Confirm the right pane heading is Activity and a list of events is visible (or an empty state if nothing has been recorded yet).
  4. Events appear newest first. Each row shows a time and a short summary (for example, an export destination path or an import filename).
  5. (Optional) Use the category filters — Import, Sync, Export, Security, or Data — to narrow the list.
  6. (Optional) Click a row to open the detail drawer for extra context when available (full destination paths, row counts, or error messages).
  7. (Optional) Clear filters or select All to see the full timeline again.

Household Edition (when available) can show who performed each action. On a single-user file, the list focuses on what happened and when.

Expected result​

  • Settings → Activity shows a chronological list with newest events first
  • Category filters narrow the list to matching event types
  • Opening a row shows detail when extra context exists (paths, counts, errors)
  • The list is read-only — you cannot edit or delete events from this screen
